This is a 1/72 scale model of the Tom Cruise's P-51D Mustang that was featured in the movie "Top Gun Maverick". This model is manufactured by JC Wings and is the exact replica of the aircraft piloted by Capt. Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.

The North American Aviation P-51D Mustang is one of the most decorated aircraft in history. Introduced in the 1940's, the aircraft was extensively used during World War II. It was present in all theatres of the war - making it one of the most distinguished military aircrafts ever made. With over 15,000 aircraft produced, and nearly 90 years later, some examples are still airworthy to this day.

This particular aircraft is owned by actor Tom Cruise - who also holds a pilot's license. It was featured in the 2022 film "Top Gun Maverick".
