This is a 1/200 scale model of Cathay Pacific's Boeing 747-400. This model is manufactured by SQ Wings and is the exact replica of the aircraft with registration number B-HUJ. The Boeing 747, affectionately known worldwide as “The Queen of the Skies” or “The Jumbo Jet”, single-handedly changed commercial air travel upon its introduction during the late 60’s. With a production run that lasted for more than 50 years, over 1000 units of this plane were made and graced the international skies.
Cathay Pacific operated 84 Boeing 747s in its lifetime, 20 of which are still in cargo operation as of 2026. Of the 87 operated planes, 15 are the "-200" variant, 6 are "-300", 49 are "-400/400F", and 14 are "-8F". They retired their last passenger 747 in 2016 and was subsequently replaced by more fuel efficient, twin - engine, widebody airliners.
